Drug abuse is a serious problem that can have widespread social impacts. This study aims to analyze the impact of criminal drug cases on individuals as well as public parties. The research method used includes data observation, namely by making observations by looking at and examining parts of various sources that already exist on the internet. The results of the study show that the criminal impact of drug cases is very diverse and complex. At the individual level, the impacts include serious physical and mental harm, worsening dependency, and social stigmatization. Victims' families also face great emotional stress, family breakdown, and financial difficulties. In society, drug criminal cases contribute to an increase in drug-related crime rates, affect social stability, and cause disruption to public order. Meanwhile, the criminal justice system is facing a heavy burden with an increasing number of drug cases, resulting in prison overpopulation and increased law enforcement costs. Resources for rehabilitation and recovery are also limited, which hampers efforts to combat drug abuse. In conclusion, drug criminal cases have a significant impact on individuals and society. Therefore, a holistic and integrated approach is needed in dealing with this problem. Stronger prevention efforts, a comprehensive rehabilitation approach, and adequate social support are very important in overcoming the negative social impacts of drug-related crimes.
