Istihsan: Journal of Islamic Law and Society is a national open access journal. Since 2026, authors are required to pay a publication fee for manuscripts that are accepted for publication. The fee is IDR 100,000 for regular publication and IDR 250,000 for Fast Track Review. The Fast Track service includes accelerated processing, translation–correction, and publishing, with all associated costs borne by the author.
