Focus & Scope

Istihsan: Journal of Islamic Law and Society is a scholarly publication dedicated to the study of Islamic law and its interaction with social realities. The journal aims to serve as a platform for academics, researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to disseminate original research, theoretical discussions, and critical analyses concerning the development and application of Islamic law in various societal contexts.

The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to, the following areas:

Qur’anic and Hadith studies in the perspective of Islamic law
